I would check at the ECU end to the connector with multimeter check continuity and the resistance the second test will give you an idea if corrosion/water damage is affecting the signal.

Crank sensor you mean the one at the gearbox the detects the flywheel

There is a small sensor behind the center dash screen that detects the suns affect heating the car but if you don't have climate control the rear view mirror needs changed as the mount is different I don't understand why every car did not have climate control as it was a £150 option in a £20,000...

The Clio RS has two options with or without the automatic headlight/rain sensor but the Diesel Clio 3 has three options the extra is without auto headlight/rain and then with or without climate control.

What part number is the display and the radio and what controls are to the right of the steering wheel does it have phone logos on it. Some radios only work with certain displays I had to sort a jap import Clio 200 and found this out.

I got a bumper kit when I saw the price drop a normal bumper should work and hand cut the xenon jet holes in it.

The clock spring might be broken I sorted a Japan import Clio 200 it had one of those deep dished steering wheels anyway putting a standard wheel back on constant airbag light so bought a new £28 replacement and it fixed the problem this a listing with the same photo but different seller.

No the airbags are normally the same rating, but the drivers seat has a switch that lets the car know the seat is not tipped forward I'm not sure if it has a resistance to show that its connected here is a link to a section Airbag

I think its a totally different rating from the airbags

There is a switch on the rail that lets the car know that the seat is not pushed forward to allow someone into the back its not just suppressing the airbag resistances.

What work have you done

OK what your describing to me seems like the heat shield is touching the live terminal of the starter motor and blown the starter fuse do you get the message and the starter motor does nothing?
