In my first 197 I had a non cup FF and to be honest found it not stiff enough for a quick blast, when I have changed shocks for the cup ones together with eibach springs this was a night day difference, sure worth having on a clio

The rev limiter is dependant on engine temperature, it will cut off earlier when cold, and even when hot but turned off for a while, make sure to check it once its warmed up

what about the ultraleggeras on the standard cup setup? do they look ok ? as surely would be better for me to stay on the standard springs, keep the ride quality where it is now, my previous 197 on eibachs was a little too low for my liking tbh but just cant get over it and keep thinking new...

to be honest I doubt the facelift will be revealed now, more like in the fall I guess, though it would be nice to see some full LED headlights on the RS'

Its not that difficult to take it to the rev limiter on 6th gear, my early 197 was on about 215 kmh, if on a flat piece of a highway the engine has no power to hit the limiter it must mean some serious wear of the engine itself, have it checked!

Mine did the same, check self leveling sensors, when theyre faulty this is how the headlights react

Could it be the clutch master cylinder? it makes a little knock everytime you start the car and set off, never heard it doing it again in any other gears than just when setting off, but had it on my previous 197 and have it on the current one, if thats the case then you shouldnt worry, its not...

Good news, at last the clio RS is back in shape, though the 5 door body, the edc, the narrow body dont make it any favors, but at least its fast and handles like it should from the very launch of a 200T.
