You can't swap the gearbox to any other type. But you can change the gear ratios manually in 'Tune Setup'. EDIT/ No changes allowed to the car at all, it must be standard.

That it just above the oil cap? Any gen on that, cost? Easy to fit? May as well change that too I guess.

Small update, took the lower engine stabilizer off today and its fine so that's not very helpful. But while it was removed it allowed me to swing the engine about on the other mounts which for me at least ruled out any engine mount or exhaust knocking as I got no strange noises while swinging...

Just to add sometimes when you repeatedly click on the link you're trying to open it will spark it into life and open it quicker than if you just leave it waiting.

Mate you're lucky i had one of these recently while my car was being looked at... 1.5dci, it was covered in dirt, full of dog hair, barely moved and was straight up the worst car i've ever driven. I would have traded it for that pug any day.

No news from me, went to Renault specialist who didnt test drive it, said nothing was loose under the car at all, then charged me £42 and said if the knocking is still there then i might want to look at the lower engine stabilizer mount? (useless tbh) So might whip the mount off this weekend...

Mine seems like it has tons of little things that annoy me. Maybe its because my last two cars were and Audi S3 and a Mini Cooper S, maybe I'm just used to everything being 'just right'.

I thought the point was to race eachother not set great leaderboard times, if that's the case we should ditch the Clio!

I can generally set top 300 times on the boards with an all round tune, track specific tuning makes very little difference and would be a waste of time in this closed comp anyway as you'd all have the same tune.

Tunes can be easily distributed via a single persons storefront for free and Will all be locked. You wouldn't need to do it for every track as a good all round car would be fine for all tracks as no one would have an advantage. Hopefully that would shift the focus of these threads to driving...
