Where are you from? (Part 2 - Map!)

Been trying to solve this problem, however the person who runs the website does not reply to any emails. Checked all the settings and nothing has changed, if anyone has any other ideas then post up. Was thinking about using Google maps however I can only set that up so either I have to...

    Area Reps

I will put my hands up and say I do bugger all in my area, however with that said if you look at the map of where members are located there are like 3 of us that are truly in the South West with me being right the way down the map. Not sure what I can do for my area, as most member like I say...

    Remove Dashboard

I would say its not an easy job mate, not done it my self but I bet there is lots involved just by looking at the workshop manual. Don't see why you would not be able to put it back in, however there is a big potential of braking parts, introducing squeaks and rattles, trapping wires etc

    Insurance issue....

When I was out of work I just said I was still in employment, naughty I know but paying £300 more was out of the question when you got no money coming in and you need the car to get to interviews etc. Everyone seems to put a big black mark over you when you are unemployed, pain in the ass.

    Bloody aircon is faulty..

Si, it has an automatic shut-off valve that isolates the system so you don't have to drain it when removing the pressure sensor. Well yeah what else are they going to put in there? I had a UV lamp I was using to check for leaks, didn't feel I had to state that information but hey ho. Had...

    Bloody aircon is faulty..

Was just trying to fix it my self that's all because I am 90% sure there is gas in the system and its not all leaked out in 5 months, like I said the A/C does not work at all now. Compressor is not kicking in, the noise was before it was re-gassed. This was the sound it made before it was...

    Bloody aircon is faulty..

Well I managed to borrow a pressure sensor from work and changed it over tonight but the compressor clutch still would not kick in so I put the old one back in because I am not paying £60 for a part that does not fix the problem. At a bit of a loss now, really need it connected to CLIP to test...

    Bloody aircon is faulty..

I know this is an old thread however I am having some problems with mine and wondering if it could be the compressor that's seized up or the condenser pressure sensor that's playing up. The air con was working fine before I layed the car up for 8 months, when I started to use the car again...

    Front Bumper Supply Issue

A problem that can happen as well is if an item is on back order with no date, after a period of time Renault can sometimes just delete the order with out telling the dealer. So something to also watch out for.

    Victim of Road Rage

Silly people, makes you wonder what goes through their head. Never had anything like that happen to me but then I do find its more relaxed driving down this way to up country. I do get people pulling out on me, tailgating and generally thinking they can bully you out the way mostly in big range...

    is it called tunepoint?

Its called tunepoint and its a very limited system and not very user friendly and for the price I would just buy a new headunit. http://renaultpartsdirect.co.uk/products/Renault-Multifunctional-Tunepoint.html You can always look on ebay for one if you really want one...

    Front Bumper Supply Issue

They seem to make a habit of doing this, last year I wanted some rear brake pads but were put on back order with no date given. Ended up after 3 weeks of waiting buying from nextday brakes. Don't know how they can not give any dates, that's just bad customer service and good way to upset...

    Oem Look Headunit

I was looking for this some time ago and come across Becker but they are hard to come by, but they are the most OEM looking head units around. http://www.mybecker.com/enUK/hauptnavigation/automotive-archiv/grand-prix-7990/ueberblick/

Has anyone had a replacement windscreen

When I had mine replaced I asked for a genuine Renault screen, I phoned Autoglass directly and they said no problem but had to get approval from my insurance company. Had problems in the past with screens being replaced and being crap so will now always ask for a genuine screen, takes a bit longer.

    Road tax increased!

Ah right ok, so I am not allowed to post up about subjects that I feel strongly about because you or another member might not like it. Because according to you I feel the need to moan to the world. No one made you click this thread, you have a choice at the end of the day. But again you miss...

    Wiper blade part number

The aero ones come as a pair, the motrio's alternatives come singular. I don't know the part number off the top of my head, but if you have been sold ones with Clio 2 on then they are the wrong ones. The Clio has a 600mm and 400mm blade where are the Mk 2 has a 530mm on both sides.
