Thanks for the reply.. i cleaned all the oil from the engine and under tray ten days ago using engine de-greaser and there is only a bit back. None on driveway or road at all, just on the front under tray. Bit frustrated with the garages as im spending a fair bit trying to get the car in good...

Just got my 197 from the garage and they have charged me £216 to replace a lower drivers side ball joint. I was told it would be going on an ATL machine to diagnose the exact offending bush/ joint that is knocking but ive come away with a knock still... Thoughts anyone??

hello... ive just disonnected my battery while i put new front seats in and a new steering wheel and my traction control wont turn on... traction control OFF light is just permanently on...i have changed all the inners of the steering wheel as the better steering wheel didnt have cruise...

Just been for an hour long blast and you get used to it...definitely feels more fun. Will give it a week or two and if i dont like it, go with the polybushes... relatively cheap job so...

Just had a new lower gearbox/engine mount fitted and christ!!! Bought the one i did because it was supposed to not be as harsh as a rose jointed one but last longer than a polybush one. HOWEVER... at idle the vibrations are terrible but it sounds nice and meaty whilst driving.... am i doing...

I got this exhaust cat when i bought my 197 a couple of weeks ago. Just wanted a bit more info, ive googled the numbers but not sure if its all there? (Seems to have been cut)And price second hand? Anything at all would be helpful. Thanks guys...
