Clio 200 both key cards don't lock the car

Sounds like the card is broke. I had to get one replaced recently as it stopped working all of a sudden. I did work out that if I bent the card ever so slightly it worked. Was something to do with a solder connection inside the card breaking, common fault apparently with guys on eBay...

    Bridgestone Re050 - Mismatched Tyres?

The RE050 is a pretty good tyre and can cope in pretty much all conditions, the RE050a is a better tyre but a slightly softer compound. What are you going to be running with them? As long as it's not something really budget you should be fine in everyday driving.

    Tyres vs road noise

It will be on there somewhere, might be on the inside facing part of the tyre, ie the bit you can't see easily without taking the wheel offt. All tyres have to have a date stamp.

    carbon fibre roof spoiler wanted

The two most popular spoilers are the optional 'Cup' spoiler and the 'Sprint' spoiler sold by KTec. Neither are particularly cheap though. You can get carbon fibre end plates for the 'cup' spoiler. The 'cup' spoiler needs a fitting kit and holes drilled into the boot of the car. The...

    Rubber covers for Headlights

I got a couple for someone on here a while back. Happened to get going to the scrap yard the next say so I said I'd look. Got them off the backs of smashed lights, took ages to find the right ones though. There seemed to be different sizes even on the same shape headlights.

    Standard to projector lights

Bulbs. They are different in the projectors than the reflectors (can't remember what exactly you'll need though it's possible that it's just the dipped bulb that's different (H1) from the reflector lights bulbs). You'll also need to remove the electric adjusters and bumper supports of the...

    Nearside headlight bulb change

But they are muppets. I can do all (and I mean all) the bulbs on the front on a 200 in 30 mins.

Assigning a private plate to a currently SORN car?

Don't think so. As far as I know it needs to have a least tax on it if not an mot as well.

    Albi R27 (reg= BIG ----)

No its a Northern Irish plate to be exact (sorry if that sounds like I'm having a go but it's something that annoys me).

New Clio 200t order... not overly impressed

You were more than patient with them, enjoy the new car. And for them about an extra £30 over a cheap they opted for. Would do my nut in, always have all 4 the same. And would never have two different tyres on the same axle (for want of a better word) for safety reasons esp on a...

    Wheel Alignment with EPAS

Yes there is specific settings for each making model of car. The place I go to had options for 197s and 200s both with and without the cup (or extreme) pack.

    Wheel Alignment with EPAS

My local place can do it no problem at all and I've the same car as you! Off to somebody who knows what they are talking about I think. Also the type steering doesn't really impact on the wheel alignment. They either couldn't be bothered as it looks like a complicated suspension set up or they...

    200T: Damage at dealers

That's a classic. I'd ask for that in writing just for the entertainment value alone.

    200T: Damage at dealers

From the pictures (which aren't great but I appreciate it isn't easy to photo the underside if a car sitting on the ground) it looks like either underseal (unlikely) or dirt has been removed from where the car was lifted on a ramp leaving yellow paint showing. Other than cleaning the area and...
