Kev had them on cup suspension and it was fine.

Cup chassis has firmer dampers and stiffer springs. Any and all 197 aftermarket springs will be fine, but dont lower massively, you need coilovers for that. try renault-sport.com for info on the r3

I didnt say all induction kits would then make a gain, I just said it NEEDS a remap to work properly. It all comes down to what you are running. As I said, I could put a kit together for circa £150 that with a remap would see gains. What Turu says is correct.

197/200s NEED remaps for ALL and ANY performance mods, be that induction kits, exhausts, cams etc. To see gains on Induction kits you need to relocate the battery OR use a small battery like Kev did. A good setup can be done for approx £150, but you will NEED a remap.

TBH K-tecs price is pretty reasonable.

Me to foxspeed. Dont get me wrong guys, I'm not saying I never see the TC light, but on the rare occasion I have, I know its just saved my ass.

I went to Wales about a month ago and spent all my time bombing round the glorious roads of North wales. kept it turned on and it not once interuppted my drive. IMO if your lighting up the TC light on the road you're doing something wrong.
