I might do a 197.net meet at my unit and detail a car together... be useful?

    Swissvax Crystal Rock

I'm cheap for layers - £10 for BOS and £40 for CR - basically 5% of their retail value.

750BHP Nissan R35 GTR - Zaino Top Up and Protection Film Correction

I recently detailed this Nissan R35 GTR here: http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=253296 It has since had a protection film added to it to protect its front end from stone chips but the owner wasn't happy with some of the marks in the film so asked me to take a look at...

Sneak peek - new Auto Finesse 'Glaze' and 'DA Sealant'...

Oh sorry Roy... that makes more sense lol! Not yet really, I'd look at one of the Clearkote's if you want something similar for Nimbus :)

Sneak peek - new Auto Finesse 'Glaze' and 'DA Sealant'...

This is for use with DA Roy... 30 seconds work time. It's filling but when sealed it will stay that way...

Sneak peek - new Auto Finesse 'Glaze' and 'DA Sealant'...

James very kindly sent me some samples of a couple of forthcoming products, a new Glaze for darker colours, and a sealant best applied via DA. A fellow DW Member asked me if I could give his Jeep a quick spruce up this evening, so we literally spent around 2 hours washing it down then going...

Liquid Yellow RenaultSport Clio V6 - Crystal Rock/Zaino Z2 Enhancement Detail!

It's visible - tiny orange colour specks in the paintwork, or could be black in the form of brake dust - both are safely broken down by IronX

    Dodo Juice Purple Haze

No worries :) The Vics always gave me the best look on my Deep Black R27. That or Lusso Oro which is about £40 I think - both look stunning. Great Summer Waxes. Defo stick to Colli over Winter - bullet proof protection.

    Snow Foam

I personally wouldn't foam it - get it cleaned properly with a dedicated cleaner and protect it with a dedicated product again. The foam will just soak it and not clean much at all, then it'll take an age to dry.

Liquid Yellow RenaultSport Clio V6 - Crystal Rock/Zaino Z2 Enhancement Detail!

Thanks all :) Iron X - I spray on, allow to work for 3-5 mins, then pressure rinse - no agitation is required. For tar, I spray Tardis on, let it work for 2-3 mins, then with a Microfibre, spray some onto that and wipe over the tar spots to remove them. Then use clay also to pick up...

    Dodo Juice Purple Haze

It's decent enough, nice and easy to use and lasts relatively well. You can do better at the money (for a full sized pot) in terms of looks and/or durability. Something like Victoria Wax Concours would be my choice on black.

    Russ work on my car.

Cheers for the kind words Luke :) I'm minutes from J10 M6 (Walsall - WS2). I only do this part time so generally weekends unless a car can be left overnight then I will squeeze one in mid week. My weekends are all booked up until into June now and midweek until towards the end of April...

    New £40 Wax 'champion'...?

Thanks all :) This car has since been into Audi for new brakes and they TFR'd it, so the CR has died! I had it back in tonight briefly to pop some more protection on to it - this time using the new Britemax Vantage wax. I'm impressed to say the least! DSC04464 by RussZS, on Flickr...

Liquid Yellow RenaultSport Clio V6 - Crystal Rock/Zaino Z2 Enhancement Detail!

I do try to price keenly - feel free to compare prices to other well established, insured detailers - I'm certainly one of the better value ones - most are around £220-250
