I know what you mean mate. When I pulled it out to fit an iPod lead i bubble wrapped the gear knob so as not to scratch it and was really careful when taking it out ad utting it back in. Somehow I can't see the dealers taking the same amount of care....... :thumbdown:

Went out in mine on a short journey on Tuesday. When I set off there wasnt a snow flake on the ground, within 10 minutes the road was covered. Never again, how I got the car home in one iece is a miracle. There was very little grip and it was sliding all over the place. Fantastic cars but...

This is now day 2 off work. Car is covered in about 5 inches of snow and is snowed in my drive. Have go loads of urgent stuff to do at work but a day on the PS3 will have to suffice...... :)

Round my way most of the roads (apart from A roads) have developed some serious pot holes and what has worn away is stood on the surface as stones. Surely there are countries with far more severe winters whose roads don't disintegrate like this. Perhaps it might have eased things a bit if they...

Is it just me or are the roads falling apart since the snow and ice?? Took the 197 out for a blast for the first time in ages the other day and there are now so many pot holes and loose chippings about it's untrue. Stone chip city :frown:

I seriously had a figure of £15ish including the dreaded VAT in my head and would have (reluctantly!) stumped up the cash but not at fifty quid! Thats bonkers :confused1:

I've recently purchased a Nilfisk ALTO C120.4-6 X-TRA that is on offer on Screwfix at the moment. I have to say it's absolutely superb and really compact so I'd recommend one of those.
