The background illumination on the speedo/rev counter/ fuel & temp gauges on my V-reg Fiesta 1.3 daily runner has packed in and I need help! I bought new bulbs from Ford and have fitted them and still there's nothing. Has anybody else had the same problem and if so how can I fix it...

Mine has been stood since the beginning of August in my garage (we've just moved house so all my time is taken on decorating at the minute). I start mine once a week with the garage door open and leave it ticking over for 20 minutes or so.

Thanks for the pics - together with your step by step guide I feel pretty confident about taking off and putting it back on. I'll have a think about the bumper itself as I need to consider what additional costs repairing a bumper would add to my overall bodyshop bill!

Thanks for the guide! I don't want to start blowing into the rear quarters, but with Nimbus in certain lights the plastic bumpers do show a slight colour mismatch with the rest of the car, I can live with that. Re: your spare bumper - what type of damage is it? If it's just cosmetic then...
