Hello quick question on de cat, got a clio 197 and de catted and fitted a piper exhaust, now its time for its MOT, I've done some research on here and some people say you can leave the de cat pipe on because there is another 1 on the manifold and some people say the opposite. does anyone know...

To be honest i fitted the H&R springs on my clio 197 56 reg, standard. not cup etc etc and i love the look but the ride is very harsh now, my mates moan about sitting in the back and hitting pot holes etc. i dont mind the harsh ride as i drove a classic mini all my life.

Very nice, i also have a deep black 1 just the normal 197, i think the black is the best colour, window tints wind deflectors it all just blends in very well, in the summer im going to wet sand mine to remove the orange peel, cant wait its going to be very shinny when its done.

Hello luke, i own a clio 197 too, and looking into changing my head unit atm its 1 of them 6 dics changer's with the bits and bobs under the drivers seat, i seen your post saying its a nightmare, can you explain a little more just whats involved in the process. Thank you very much Martin

hey thanks alot for that reply mate was going to take bumper off tomorrow and try but not now, so are you still running the hid4u hids or you changed them for 1's which work better i was told the hid4u 1's were good quality as there like £120 and you can buy the same on ebay for 40 odd...

so people dont recommend me wrapping the ballasts in aluminium tape or foil to insulate them, in a ideal world i only want to take the front bumper off once more to try and solve this problem, i have seen on other forums about wrapping them. martin
