The car is fast you just need to drive it like your hair is on fire. Have you thought that it feels slow in a straight line because its so planted and therefore you don't get the sensation the same? They are as quick as all the rivals and as quick as 172/182s and noone ever said they were slow.

The best way to sell would be trading IMO. The car is probs worth around £11,500 to £12,000 and as bank loans are hard to get these days you may find it hard to sell privately. I'd also remove any mods and sell seperately.

I'd be interested to see how much I'm removing using a rotary, swissvax cleaner fluid pro and a finishing pad. I'm pretty confident it will be hardly anything but I do polish it once or twice a year so maybe I should check sometime.

I have used a few dodo juice products and don't rate them at all. If you are looking to spend decent money on a wax I'd look at Race Glaze, Swissvax, Zymol and even Autoglym HD before any Dodo waxes. As for rain forest rub you can get better and longer beading from Zymol Field glaze and thats...

When you do a paint depth what are you looking for? How do you know that say 200 is better than 150 because isn't the figure the combined paint and clearcoat? Surely its possible to have thick paint and thin clearcoat especially on repared cars or in the case of many Renaultsports hand painted.

Raceglaze 55 is quite a strong red colour.

From what I hear it would be totally undrivable on the road. Its designed for full throttle changes at the redline and to hell with everything else. Same goes for the engine management too. Again its not road car management. Plus its £5k for the ECU.

I avergage just over 500 miles per month so about £100 per month.

Thats what I used to used but the big fluffy blue ones are better. Soak up water better and are softer.

What cars are they? Just says 197 and 200. With an early 197 and therefore non cup packed car there will be a huge difference between that and a cup packed 200.
