If there was sufficient interest, there's a company Bristol way that can make them (to a higher standard than Whiteline). But I doubt there would be enough interest, or people willing to pay a decent deposit up front.
Standard 200 seats aren't the same as fitted to the lower range clio's. They are far more supportive. If the Recaro's significantly lowered the driving position, they'd be worth the money. But they don't (and can't), so ott for me.
The Renault fitted Recaro sits slightly higher than the standard seat. Afaik, you can't use a standard Recaro subframe on the RS Recaro's, so to get lower you'd need aftermarket Recaro's and subframes.
If you want to swap (with a bit of cash your way) for a standard boot (that you could fit a cup spoiler to) pm me. I've a GW 200, would love a GT spoiler.
You're correct that a heavily modified car would be way more responsive. But incorrect that it's mind over matter. Massively.
I've got no reason to push it, I paid nothing for my remap. But the difference was immediately noticeable (and still is after driving a standard car). I honestly...
I had a remap free from tdf. Only mod is a panel filter. Peak power gain was minimal, 3bhp from memory. But midrange much improved, immediately noticeable.
