    Cill Plates

I had mine taken off by the bodyshop and refitted. No issues with it at all. Take your time ensuring the glue underneath is warmed up and remove with dental floss/fishing line. Otherwise I’m sure you can find someone who will make CF strips if you provide them with the measurements. Renault...

    Megane brembos with speedline wheels

Yes mate you’re certainly right. A lot of the companies who do two piece discs can use a Clio hat with a 330mm/340mm rotor saving you the headache of having the Megane discs machined and no need for spigot ring either.

    Megane brembos with speedline wheels

Calliper spacers and longer fixing bolts. May need to go for longer bolts with a flat head depending on what wheels you’re using. Yes PCD is different and will need re-drilling and/or some creative filing. You’ll also need a spigot ring to centre the brake disc as centre bore is slight bigger...

    Megane brembos with speedline wheels

I’d test fit them then and see if they clear the hub (on the 312mm discs). They may do but there would be part of the pad that isn’t making contact with the disc. Not really a worthwhile upgrade unless you’re also increasing disc diameter because in theory you’ve still got the same amount of...

    Megane brembos with speedline wheels

You’ll need at least 330mm brakes I would have thought or the Megane 340mm ones, which would then give you increased braking power. IIRC, the pistons are the same diameter between the two but as Ben has said, the pad itself is larger than than those in the standard Brembos.

You may also be able to put the weights on the inside of the wheel instead of outside (near the spokes)

    Swapping Clocks/speedo

I had a specialist use what I’m certain was Clip to do a mileage change on a set of 200 clocks

Car stalled and now won’t start

Unlikely to be the crank sensor if it’s died whilst idling but I’d take a look at it anyway.

The only place I’d recommend after having experience with a lot of specialists in the Midlands is Mick at Diamond Motors. Don’t bother going anywhere else if it’s a mechanic you need. You’ve also got Sean at Jade Developments who I queried about getting some work done with and was very helpful.

    Interior lights water leak

I’ve just had water dripping from both interior lights that sit above the sun visor. Car hasn’t got a sunroof so it can’t be the drains. Never had this issue before. The only thing I can think of is the aerial seal but surely the arced shape of the headliner would mean it would get wetter at...

    Windscreen Frozen INSIDE

Sorry for the holy revival but why start another thread when there’s already one. Anyone else having issues with condensation on the inside of the windscreen? Scuttle drains clear, mats dry etc. I assume there just isn’t enough airflow through these cars to stop it?

Can’t really fault them for offering that. They’re a business at the end of the day focussing on the part of the market who value convenience more than money. With all due respect, it sounds like you either bought a lemon or bought it without fully researching how these cars like to bankrupt...
