A few folk with rose tinted glasses on here. The Cooper S is a very capable car, that would seriously hassle a 197. Don't bring in this "twisty" stuff either. The 197 is better obviously, but the mini will be there in your mirror. The GP is especially good.

The fix for the bunnyhopping is the driver imo. Not trying to be disrespectful or anything, but once you get used to it you can stop it with clutch and throttle. You just need to adjust to this annoying "characteristic" The Actis Solution thing isnt really worth the effort of taking the car...

Nah, I disagree mate. They are not playing well at the moment and before long it will be a tough task (if they continue like this). They came to Ewood last week and we (Blackburn) should have beat them. One up front with Kuyt was just not working for them, and to be honest they looked normal.
