Quick machine polish - Clio 200 Front Diffuser

It's incredibly soft. I haven't polished my rear diffuser yet but I have a feeling it's the same. Did you do the airblade (or whatever you call it)?

Is there a 'how to' on changing headlight bulbs?

Bumper off is definately easier now that I gotten used to the procedure. There is so little space behind the N/S headlight my small hands get hurt. lol It's only a 5 min off job for me but for first time I would allow 20mins. As said look in the guides section (I presume mine is still valid?).

    Which new clutch?

I don't have any experience with uprated clutch on the clio but have a question. What power are you running and how many miles? I noticed mine slips just like your clutch when I was at Spa with 4k miles on the clock.

Is it a case of waiting for it to fail then? It has 14k on the clock and 4 trackdays. The gearchange also feels abit notchy when warm which didn't used to happen.

    Cold gearbox woes

It has been happening for a while now but it's getting worse. The box struggles for 1/2/3 when just starting, sometimes take over 30secs to find a gear. The dealer adjusted the linkage but the problem came back 1 week later. Looking to change to box oil to see if it helps. Any other...

    The misses crashed the cup

Mine drove mine all the time. She did curb one wheel but that was easily fixed so nothing major. She even drove mine at Donington, had to keep telling her to keep her foot to the floor and brake hard for corners.

Mud flaps?? High daily mileage thoughts?

I don't like mud flaps but that's me. I never found tar to be a big problem. Just have to make sure the paintwork is protected with wax/sealant. Mine gets used on track and in europe so it gets plenty of mileage.

Warm air one side and cold the other?

    Warming car up

Mine never kangaroo when I'm leaving my house. I think it's due to me backing out of the driveway which is sloped downwards so no gears needed, this takes around 20s which seems to help it.

Petrol question - don't flame me!!!!!

I use 95ron from supermarket (tesco/morrisons) on the road and track. There isn't any difference compared to other 200 especially on track. MPG wise I'm averaging 33MPG indicated.

    spanner

I think the engine was on but can't remember. I had to try it like 5 times before I got it right. Just keep trying with ign on and off and it'll work.

been tempted to change clio for r26

The clio is much more chuckable like others said. Speed wise a mapped 250 was pulling around 8 car lengths on me through Eau Rouge an the Kemmel straight. At brands a mapped 225 would pull 2/3 car lenghts.

    Apple iPhone 4S Discussion

I would agree with you. I was due an upgrade plus my 4 was dropping signal so thought a new phone would be nice. I also got £270 for the 4 so wasn't too bad. The only big benefit is Siri. I use it much more than I thought would, I setup all appoinments and send texts through it which is helpful.

    STD contisport3s on track?

Airfields are really hard on tyres though. Mine did Oulton, Spa, Donington and they are still fine. I think they are more than enough for track. Remember JT drives them with standard tyres and he goes faster than you can imagine. It's down to how you load the tyres to get the optimum slip angle.
