I'm looking forward to RBR and their two new Audi.
I think Plato will be in a S2000 Cruze with the Chevy turbo unit that's similar to their WTCC engine.
Not many do it but I know somone who instruct in an elise do it. They also have a vid of it a Llandow.
The advantages of it in a FWD car is likely to be very small as the weight of the engine is already there but anything thats light (caterham) or RR/MR would benefit from the extra weight...
I'm sure many of you would have seen it before but you know you want to watch it again.

Note the lack of cup chassis. ;)
Haven't managed to do anything yet or I didn't want to work on the car in cold weather. haha
I have noticed this only happens at around 6C to 11C. At really cold temp it's perfectly fine, dare I say even better than when warm.
Imagine coming up to a sharp corner where you have to downshift from high speeds. You will H&T as normal, then after all your gearchanges are done your right foot would normally lift off the brakes and onto the throttle and left foot trasnfer onto the brakes. When overlapping both your feet...
Are you doing it like the first part of the vid or using your heel? I find it much more difficult using the side of my foot even though that was how I started off.
Overlapping throttle does bring a significant benefit but can also ruin the whole corner if it doesn't come together perfectly.
Does look that way. I only H&T on the road occasionally with just rev matching most of the time.
I found that the throttle sometimes need a bigger dab just to get the revs up as though it falls asleep if I'm coasting.
Left foot brake is also second nature in this car. Trying to perfect...
I never experienced this on the roads as I drive like a granny. However, the difference in cornering speeds on track is so noticeable especially in the wet. At brands hatch I was going past 172/182 etc like its totally different class car.
The raider does look nice but not different enough to tempt a change from me. However, if I didn't have a 200 it would definately be on my list.
I'm guessing there will be Clio RS 4th gen prototype in the factory next year hence no visits.
They are only axing RHD cars for the UK market so it's a good idea IMO.
Is Dacia coming to the UK as a budget brand? I look forward seeing it on the roads.
