thanks for the replys guys i used to get around 26 from the clio and the focus is now averaging 22/23 mpg. im already looking for where to take it for remaping once iv done all the hardware changes :)

i agree the clio is a great package out of the box, obviously the focus is better specd but thats because i bought a cup and am now enjoying keyless, dab, etc The cup suspension is also a little crashy compared to the focus which does seem to handle imperfections in the road better without...

Thanks guys, cleaned it today, takes an extra half hour to clio just because of the size of the thing, still loving it though and its returning 24 mpg, very suprised so far.

i think he may mean the issues regarding trying to get a colour match on UG, iv heard it can be a real pain to match if the car needs some paintwork.

i only picked it up today and have managed 25 just short journeys with a few blasts, i think thats as good as i will see usually tbh, i only got 26 out of the clio, i will report back after more driving though.

i can understand why they do mike, clio has the looks and most of the speed at alot less of the running costs, i can almost certainly say il be back to owning one :)

Thanks for the reply's guys, the sound and presence is amazing it has a mongoose exhaust which always helps :). Running costs are high but i only use it for weekends and its sooo worth it.

Haha the fuel dosent bother me so much as I have a works vehicle, its just is the frs worth that much more than the clio.

I have been in a focus rs and loved it the sounds and looks, although the st is for the thinking man I love the brutal look of the frs. Think il miss the clio too much tough.

I have had 2 sets off hel lines due to the first ones rubbing on the wheel on full lock, the first lines did not have a rubber bush on and clamped in the original clamp still moved slightly, the new ones as you say have two rubber bushes and clamp in the original clamp but tighter due to the...

Mine were both but slightly worse on the drivers side, the guy at renault said he had seen it before so maybe common? Only had them replaced around 4 months ago.
