Engine under tray square inspection cover

Not sure if this is the right section but, I've just been under my Clio 200 for a look, and I'm fairly sure there should be a square cover where you access the sump plug. Can anybody supply me with a replacement? I've tried Renault, but they will only sell me a complete engine undertray in...

    ESP button.

I did a track day at Oulton, both dry and very very wet. I left the ESP on most of the time and didn't feel it was too intrusive. Accelerating hard out of the chicane (after island bend) made the tcs cut in but other than that 'twas fine. Also lets you take massive liberties in the wet... On...

    Oulton park sprint stage?

Hmmmm - I drove on to the sprint stage once when I was parking for a BSB round. It was being used for parking, you had to drive around part of the sprint circuit and then park on the grass. I was very early so there was nobody about......so obviously I put my foot down as soon I as got onto the...

    Car vandalised

Some degenerate misfit kicked the drivers side wing mirror off my Mrs's car last night - even snapped the wiring loom. [2010 Mk.3 facelift Clio 1.2] It looks like the main black plastic casing is broken where it hinges - does anybody have any pictures which might help me to bodge it back...

    215 and 225

So 225's fit OK regardless of front/rear? Just asking as this might broaden tyre choice a little - I'm due for new rubber soon.

    Want a cheap Lambo

I thought it looked reasonably convincing until I saw the dogschitt interior. These things are always let down by terrible interiors.

    New problems.. Similar symptoms..

I've seen a Megane 250 do something similar on a track day. Started misfiring badly and ran like a bag of nails. I honestly thought something very mechanical must have been very broken. The engine was left for a while, re-started and ran fine. It has run fine ever since too I believe. The...

    Short clio experience.

Is it actually possible to fit a new roof, with that kind of damage? It looks like it landed upside down on a giant rock hard sausage. Surely a re-shell at best?

    Brake Pads - Carbotech XP8's

I didnt know you could get them direct. Partmeister recommended and supplied the pads, cracking service to be fair.

    Brake Pads - Carbotech XP8's

I've heard good things about the CL's but I think the XP8's were cheaper. Not sure of the exact numbers for the CL's but the XP8's cost me £200 delivered. I might buy CL's next time and see what the difference is.

    Brake Pads - Carbotech XP8's

They squeal a bit on the road but only with medium braking. They are silent under gentle or heavy braking, oddly.

How much better on fuel are 182's

My old 172 Cup once showed 46mpg on a steady 70mph+ motorway run. It would easily average 40 mpg tho, calculated not indicated. I should never have gotten rid of that car....
