Yep C5 all the way, hadn't tried it until fairly recently, but the results have been great, I've done 8 alloys so far, including a satin black set, brilliant stuff.

I took my 200 to be re gassed and checked in march, its been great since and does what you'd expect A/C to do. I'm guessing the 197 system is the same, but our 197 gets nowhere near as cold, it has also been checked and is problem free.

Your better off just complaining RUK if something goes wrong that really shouldn't if your out of warranty, although it seems even if you have warranty more than often its the case anyways. waste of money IMO, I can't see where the piece of mind is, you'll be put through the same ol crap before...

For people that have used this, how many wheels can be treated with 15ml bottle?, I need to seal 12 alloys. Also can it be used on satin black alloys?.

Why dont you just take it to Renault, have it re gassed, dye put in and a system check?, £69, you'll know one way or another then. The wooshing sound may not mean anything, I've had a few cars AC that have done that but worked perfectly well.

Its more than likely were you've been leaving it sat, the gas will slowly leak through any seals in the system as they dry through lack of use. They are kept lubricated by the oil in the AC system with normal usage.

Yes, I've noticed this too, the 197 does have a nicer exhaust note at that rev range, my 200 is much quieter in comparison to our 197, one of a few things i prefer about the 197, as to why, I've no idea!.

You'd be selling to a larger market without the mods on, so as said id get them off. Personally I dont think they add much to the the car in terms of value, so Realistically you might be looking at £9.5k max, IF its properly mint, there's plenty of cups about with fewer miles on them for less...

Is there a product specifically for removing dried water spots?. Also what is considered the best bug remover, preferably something that dissolves, rather than rubbing.

I also have an mp350 focus rs, it is in a different league compared to my clioRS IMO, and its interesting that most of what you feel about it, id disagree with!.... I think build quality wise, the FRS is miles better, doesn't have anything like the problems the CRS does, recaros also are...

Hiya, I'm due to take my 197 to get all the belts done and serviced in the next few months so a big service. I'm thinking of taking it to Ktec, but am wondering about using RenaultSpeed in Farnborough as they're a bit close to me - has anyone used them? any good? Any feedback welcome cheers!
