Thats a good suggestion about the thread length. There seems to be a bit of rust overlap in the picture of the front thread hole. I'll need to get the car jacked up and wheels off so I can have a proper look without worrying about scratching anything.

Once they are finger tight the old bolts feel properly tight after a few rotations with the tool. Same with the tpi bolts on the back. However, the same tpi bolt on the front is still not totally tight after more rotations than the others. Very scientific I know I dont want to keep tightening...

I recently had my wheels powder coated so ordered a set of black TPI bolts since a number of people seem to recommend them. I got TPI Black Tapered Longer Bolts 14x1.50 28mm ones...

Just back from the mechanics. They diagnosed a loose far side steering arm. Getting it replaced under warranty next week. Hopefully that will sort it for a while.

Noticed a rubbing noise when my steering approaches left lock. From searching around it sounds like it might be a ball joint needing replacing. Keen to get a second opinion though.

Back on the road! I'm not an exhaust expert but they seem to have done a decent job. Welds look beefier than before. Car is running smoother than ever now which is great. The only down side is its maybe a bit too quiet now...

Would it be possible to enable HTTPS on this site? I often use public Wi-Fi so all my Clio chat (and passwords) would be broadcast to anyone in range. Even on encrypted Wi-Fi the data would be bouncing around the internets in cleartext.
