It all sounds good but the big killer for me is the flappy paddle gearbox. And, I'd rather have a high revving N/A. If I wanted a turbo'd F4R I'd buy a megane, would have a proper diff too

As I said earlier, mine look like this too. I've never used brake cleaner and only ever used neutral alloy wheel cleaner (autosmart smartwheels). The bumpy pattern is so consistent over the seal, it looks like it's meant to be like that. Are we sure some 197s aren't meant to have seals like this?

I wrote the guide on here about lowing the subframe, there was NO WAY it was coming out on it's own free will! Mine is a full fat 197. I've heard some other people say it was quite easy so maybe the cups are a lot easier

KTR ones will 100% be drilled, its only the 'drilled' discs on things like porsche's that are cast, they're a lot more expensive. You really won't notice any difference having the holes.

I used conti's on my 2 track days but they were almost worn out so I wasn't too bothered. They do overheat and melt though so aren't great on a hot day

I wouldn't personally go for it, drilled disks are more hassle than they're worth. If brembo HC discs are available then I'd go for them

Probably some cheap pads in there. Some pads just don't work from cold very well, I had this on my old fiesta with cheap aftermarket pads, replaced for standard and the had tons of bite from cold
