I can't see how they have left that like that - maybe they didn't torque it up to the right value and with the vibration it has come lose??. I'd hope they know what a torque wrench is and how to use it!

All depends on the battery condition.. if it's fully charged and in good/newsish cond then you can get away with 'XX' amount of weeks/months.. but I wouldn't risk leaving a car 6+ weeks with a battery that may or may not be in good cond.. unless of course your not bothered charging it if it does...

Your always best disconnecting the battery when not using it for a long period. Not sure how you sort the locking. Presume you lock all the doors then disconnect and only use the drivers door then?

on the diff between cup and FF not sure but there has been some talk about some people getting a jack and others not.. eg cup has no jack FF does. I've been told FF even with cup pack has a jack... but then I've heard some people as per threads on here say otherwise. Either way your friend...

tbh none of them except the V6 are ever going to be proper 'collectable' and/or worth a huge amount in the future. Lets be honest, 205 T16's, Renault 5 Gordini etc are proper collectable hatches - they differ greatly from the standard Renault 5/Pug 205 and were build for homologation purposes...
