Wet headlining passenger side by pillar - Sunroof

Hey all,

had a lot of condensation inside the car last night so started a quick investigation and found the corner of the headlining...where it drops around to the seatbelt bit (hope that makes sense) is wet. Center of headlining is dry.
Seems to run from roughly middle of rear window to the front just before A Pillar.

I’ve had a mooch online but everyone seems to be different or footwell thats Wet.

Drains are clear ... I think, the pipes could’ve come loose. My real question is how hard is the headlining to pull out? Or has anyone had similar and found it to be something else entirely ?

We need to know what you have a 197 or 200 with or without sunroof where are the damp patches drivers or passengers I think your naming the pillars wrong A B or C. Most likely is your rear wash wipe is not working at the moment with the frost the connectors can separate or pressure because the jet is frozen from memory I think it goes UK drivers side to back pillar Have you been washing the car when it is near or below zero and leaving it sitting. Also if it is parked is it two wheels up on curb pointing down or uphill cup spoiler or not?

200 sunroof A pillar for sure passenger side.
Hasn’t been washed in months. However lots of rain!
Wheels are on curb passenger side.
Dampness is literally alone the leading edge (closest to passenger windows).
Rear wipers never used as I dewipered.

Right there is a section on here about sun roofs as it came up before our friend in Finland the sun roof has drains at each corner at the roof and feeds out into the wheel arches the pipes tend to shrink or water freezes which also have the effect of pulling back on the pipes I'll have a look.

Cheers again Turkie absolute champion.
I’ve taped it up for the time being to prevent the worst ingress.

hopefully I’ll be able to figure it out next weekend without having to pay £££ for a reseal.
Hi @CM200 did you manage to find a fix for this?

I have the same issue, drains unblocked and flowing freely but water still getting in rear left of sunroof.

Thank you
