Too far?

It's been wet & miserable. I've never enjoyed lying in puddles working on the car.
Have I gone a bit too far cleaning up the suspension before I rebuild it?

Not in the slightest, looks great! I'm same if I'm going to put something on, try and clean it up as much as I can!

I just can't seem to help myself. The rear (larger) bushes are about to be pressed out & new fitted - only because they work fairly hard.
Just going for standard at the moment.
The cast iron lower ball joint clamps have got a fresh coat of satin black. Threads for ABS sensor brackets have been chased. Any corrosion in the hole in the swivel hub for the ABS sensor has been removed - I'n contemplating refitting the ABS sensors with a little silicone around them the prevent moisture getting in there.........

OK, so I'd like to have had it all vapour blasted, but a DIY job had to do.

Looks great. It's something id definitely have done myself when I refreshed the underneath of my car last winter. But I had so much to do in a short time, I just gave everything a clean down as I went as best I could.
