Matt's track/nurburgring RS250 Clio f1

Good work Matt, welcome back haha.
Did you buy this off TrackM3 (forgot his name)?
You going to Meg it too, or SC this time?

Was off a lad called Chris I know he's had a few M cars so may well be...no plans for Meg swap atm if anything I could see a k20 swap but not for a while

Really interesting thread and followed your escapades on pistonheads. Loved your last car.

I’ve just swapped from a meg 250 that was mildly track prepped.

I’m intending to supercharge the clio I have now.

How do you find the new car vs your old one? I was surprised how much less weight the clio is to the meg and that was one thing that prompted the swap.

The meg with the longer wheelbase was much more stable in corners, but I do love how much the clio rotates and how much more of a handful it is

I preferred the megane to the clio with 250 engine and I've not driven this one enough to make a judgem9on it yet but this has a lot of weight taken out of it so will be lighter then both

Looking great Matt, Recaro + Schroth is the best combo, had same in my E36 track car!

What spoiler is that? I thought it was a sprint but from the back it doesn't look like it?

I was going to ask about the spoiler - don't recognise it.

Car looks great I must say. I was adamant that that they all need the Cup spoiler, but I think this is one of those that proves they don't!

If you look at this, it goes down the rear and has a cutout round the rear brakelight, yours is like a flat piece.

PS I really like it! Why I would like to find out what it is lol.

Ahhh that might explain why mine has what looks like sand marks on those bits...almost like mines had the left and right pieces removed (not painted yet) I'll get a picture

That makes loads of sense, but also why would they do that? Haha

It is indeed a modified sprint spoiler. There is a project thread on the car on here IIRC.
