Track pads

looking for recommendations on pads people are using on track, anyone used mintex f4r's?

I used DS3000's on my evo's and they were pretty decent.

I don’t use my cup for track but I use Pagid pads, they are unreal [emoji1303]

The ones that have given us the least disk issues are Pagid RS29's

Running D1.11's at the moment and they seem ok

PBS pads were next on the list - as used by the Civic racers and as above they are cheap compared to the others

The RST 3 pad is far superior to the Rs29 which is a decent compound

I’m impressed with the RC6s, felt a bit grabby at first but have settled down.

Sensible wear rate on track and have never squealed on the road yet.
I had been swapping them in for track use only but left them in this time and they’re behaving perfectly well on the road.

As others have suggested, I’m interested to try the PBS pad too. :thumb:

Standard genuine renault pads. Done many a trackday with no issues what so ever. My pals the same and he’s done the ring and spa on standard genuine pads from renault with no issues.

I was on standard pads at silverstone on friday. One time they failed on the main straight at 110mph so off I went into the tarmac run off. And then towards the end of the day I got brake judder through the steering wheel when breaking.
So if your on a circuit with no run off I'd advise to upgrade the pads.
Also I change brake fluid to 660 before.

Winmax W5. Very good. Slight increase in performance over DS1.11 I had previously. Wear rate looks slightly worse though
