Akrapovic exhaust tip size help

Hi Guys

After having no luck finding a 200 diffuser at the moment, I am going to go down the next route and replace the tips on my Akra.

When I bought it (second hand) it came with some makeshift tips (to fit the 197) which don't look the best so looking to swap them out for some nice shiny ones.

Does anyone have any idea of the diameter of the tips that I will need to fit over the Akra system ? Will they be the same as the ones you can get with the Scorpion 197 system ?

I have the same back box for a 197 I got 2nd hand, the pipes had been cut back and tips clamped on I don't think they were Scorpion no logos on them the problem with cutting them back is the slight angle on them cut back too far and the angle is out. The max outside sized tip to fit a 197 diffuser is 3" anything over that your touching the plastic and scuffing the finish as well as risking melting it. The slash cut needed more angle to match the diffuser angle and was pointing towards the ground and not level.

Thank you for this. The original 200 exit pipes haven't been cut at all, they just have some very unpleasant tips 'clamped' on which have worked fine but I just don't like the look of them - See picture below.



I just want some that will sleeve over the top like yours, however I want them to stick out like on the picture below (this is a car with the standard exhaust with some eBay tailpipes over)



The Scorpion 197 systems are basically the 200 system with some tips that sleeve over the tailpipe like the picture below. However they aren't that cheap and don't want to order them if they won't fit. Really what I'm looking for is if the scorpion and Akra exit pipes are the same diameter (The 2 bits circled in red)
