LED Bulbs.....

What interior / number plate LED bulbs are you all using without blowing a fuse every 5 secs..?!

Today I thought I'd change my interior and number plate light bulbs for LEDS. Started with the number plate bulb, blue the fuse so had no n/s rear light or number plate lights.

Fitted the bulb in the courtesy light in the roof, fine, changed the drivers door interior light, fine, fitted the passenger door interior light, something blew and now I've got no interior door lights....

I've just put all the original bulbs back in, seems more grief than it's worth....

So what bulbs are all using that work? And anyone know which fuse it is for the interior door lights?

TIA.

I used one of these https://ebay.us/VgGa9z for the glovebox, it was a very tight fit, and I blew a fuse while installing. Lost interior lights and wing mirrors, but all worked ok once fuse was replaced. It was a fuse in the interior fuse box below steering wheel that had blown.

I used these https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07F3VHM2D/?tag=clio197-21 for everything else including number plates. I blew a fuse when while installing one of the number plate bulbs and lost half of my lights. That was one of the fuses under the accoustic valve in the engine bay - so more of a pain to replace. All worked perfectly after fuse replaced though.

Moral of my story is don't get over enthusiastic with a screwdriver and short out the circuits when changing bulbs!!!

The guides on here were really useful for accessing fuse boxes and removing glove box.

Thanks for that. All sorted now, I think the screwdriver was the cause for the fuse blowing.

Appreciate your reply!
