My first RS197

Ah.. Maybe that was why I was getting an abs fault. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Abs ring was completely worn down due to rust on the stub axle bf4540320b724f6baded81b6c2305026.jpg

It a great deal going on with the car atm. Using it daily and all is well ( touch wood)

However I did install a turbo gauge (Chinese scan gauge) to keep an eye on things [emoji106][emoji106]

Also went to a car show hosted by a friend back from my bmw days at caffeine and machine and the photographer got a decent shot of my car [emoji7]82645d601a55b8bec15a225b02f32992.jpgd391eeafed51a687cab0bf47bbf1cf14.jpg392f9214c37787fae8a8507bbda47ba9.jpg

How are you finding the turbogauge?
thinking of getting one. Did you have to get it from a Chinese supplier on ebay?

Thinking of using one of these and putting an air/fuel gauge in the right hand vent, but didn't want to loose the vent really.

Hardly any updates on the car recently as its been behaving to some extent... Apart from nearly setting itself on fire [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Aside from that it's got a mot for 12 months now

Lots of work coming up in the foreseeable 877f17d572917f05d52d7e48f71e78d2.jpg8c7e93a08604f5a67fa1f5464d45076a.jpg

Been working on cleaning the car up these past few weeks.

It's had a full machine polish. Sealant and wax.

Had my wheels refurbished in anthracite and my pilotsport 4s fitted this week.

Also colour coded the door bullets to match.

Car then treated me to an abs fault [emoji23] [emoji379]093958b2d0227e60d7df0dbbadf99c6f.jpga06c3a8e30657af527664cea88f3e64b.jpg2201bc6434c6aad0f179db87803a5228.jpg53526725dfdb49fce478533f9f966840.jpg

once the engine was out I took it to 'The Renault Specialist' in West Brom , aka Lee Robinson to have a new cam belt kit and water pump fitted , as always forgot to take some photos...

so the car is back on the road finally and im not allowed to drive thanks to this virus :thumb:

rear coilovers installed
rear brakes rebuilt with new seals , pistons , slider pins , bleed nipples and pad fitting kit
rear braided brake lines fitted
whiteline rear beam bushes
new discs from MTec to match the fronts
1x bucket seat fitted
engine bay almost completed
gear knob adapter and extension fitted

had an issue with bleeding the brakes so I managed to get hold of a second hand clip , bled the brakes using it and tuned my airbag light off

car feels awesome can't wait to be able to get it mapped and get out in it !
