R26R front discs on a stock 197?

Hi Guys,

Do R26R front discs fit onto the 197 stock setup with the stock brembo carriers and calipers?

The dimensions don't look too different, just the diameter is about 20mm bigger and the spigot is slightly bigger.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I believe they do, seen a few with R26r discs on and mine had when purchased. I would watch out as a lot of people say they are prone to cracking

I had an R26R, and I would fit plain Brembo disks, but its personal choice.I find on track, drilled,or slotted disks, may pick up pad residue, and now since running plain disks, I don't get pad pick, so no shuddering, and disks seem less prone to warping. Other people might find differently of course, heavier car, plus other viariables.

Thanks a lot for the help. Think I will stick with the plain HC brembo with maybe Ferodo DS2500 and braided lines.
