You mean, wrap it in a racing livery?

In the meantime, I've fixed a problem that was bugging me a while. Sent some bits off for respray:

I do love that wrap, mine at the moment, nice colour, uninspiring graphics. It runs 320/340, more power than an old man like me can deploy, but good fun.I start my track days at Cadwell in April. My family think I should grow up, and drive a Volvo, smoke a pipe, and wear a hat.I might turn up one day, with the car wrapped, just to see their reaction!.

Where are you based?

A Clio wrap would be circa £1500-£1700 depending on the design.

Just do something subtle. Maybe the black on the bumper (like mine!) and bonnet, something like this?

Okay. Bank holiday weekend means play time!

First things first, I painted my callipers yellow. Thought they’d look nicer and I was pleased with the result. They’ll need touching up in a couple weeks but that’s fine.

Whilst taking the wheels off I put yellowstuff pads in. Not sure they’re that great to be fair - I’ve read ferodos might be better? After a couple test runs to bed them in, I don’t really feel like they’re any better than stock pads, and they certainly need a bit of heat to work, even in this weather...

Then, I thought I’d have a mess around with some more vinyl. I’m not sure, what’s your opinions guys?

Liking the yellow callipers however not so much in the bonnet!

I can see where your going with it but needs the roof doing!

There’s abit too much going on with the front

Fair enough! You're thinking black roof?
some brembo stickes would be a nice addition...:thumb:
I need to sand and touch up the callipers, then I shall add them  I work in a vinyl shop so I'm sure it'll be fine.

Just ordered some Ferodo RS2500s from Ktec, my brother recommended them too. You're absolutely right, they're ****. Nearly crashed on the way into work this morning as I hadn't used my brakes (stuck in traffic!!) and when it cleared, I came up to a roundabout and nearly took out the car in front, had to swerve into the bus lane. Got it on dash cam, I'll upload it when I get home!

Hi guys!

Small update. I now have a better way of mounting my harnesses with an Oulton half cage! Courtesy of Foz Motorsport (Northants).

Here's the cage installation:

And the completed. Managed to get it in without taking the headlining out which is a plus. Had to cut a small square of floor foam out but that wasn't too bad.
