Ktec Manifold fitted remap required ?

I have a totally stock Clio 200 and just fitted a ktec manifold as stocker was blowing.
Car drives absolutely fine and dandy without issue.
My question is do I have to remap or will the air fuel ratios etc still be ok as it is with cat still in etc.

Is it safe ?

I'm genuinely surprised that the car drives fine. Mine had a totally noticeable flatspot around 3k rmp and even mapping didn't iron it out completely. Maybe there was a flatspot there to begin with due to the blowing manifold?

I would definitely map the car just to be on the safe side.

You'll be fine to run it without a map, but obviously will be affecting performance until done! Plenty of people run their cars decatted etc. without a map  But as above, mine has a brutal flatspot just after a cat back (resonated too). Maybe due to the design of the manifold too. It is meant to be good

My car still has the main cat and that's how I wanna keep it.
The exhaust has had an affect positively and engine feels more responsive.
I definitely have no flat spot and the cost of a map and what you get in return really isn't worth it as it's n/a.
Will leave it as it is now.

If you don’t like mid range torque I’d leave it as is, look at any before or after map and there’s a massive difference, people look at bhp and think that’s it, you don’t drive normally at peak power, it’s there for about half a second per gear generally
