Driveshaft removal

hi, I’m in the process of pulling my engine/gearbox out, the passenger side driveshaft won’t come out of the gearbox, the workshop manual refers to a clip removal tool but I’m not seeing anything when looking at the shaft. Is there anything or do I just need to give it a good tug lol.

From memory it should just pull out.

Just pulls out, or at least mine does. No retention clip.

Ok yeah thanks I can’t see anything holding it in so will just pull harder lol

most likely refering to the snap ring fitted to drive shafts that stops them moving/coming out of the diff bearing planet gear - ususally a large pair of screw drivers between box & shaft helps "pop" the shaft out
