rupe30's Clio 197

Cool, I might go for that then. I've just started noticing my release bearing is a touch noisy too, my cars only done 29k so maybe they're just a bit noisy or am I being too hopeful?!
depends..my old set up was on 55k miles and felt spot on..

Spa Francorchamps 4/4/18

Awesome trip to Spa this week. A real pleasure to drive in convoy with so many Renaultsports. Early crossing over to France, spirits were high looking forward to a nice sunny trackday at Spa..IMG_3128.JPG IMG_3129.JPG

Went straight to the track on Tuesday to watch the track day in progress. So many great viewing points. The track is in a valley so you can hear the eho's of porsches lambos etc all around, gives the whole place an amazing atmosphere.IMG_3156.JPG

Me and @Benno ready to go

I'm coming for you @Johnny 99 ! XSP_0039.JPG XSP_0135.JPG XSP_0234.JPG XSP_0148.JPG

My best lap of the day a 3.33. A dry line started to appear on sections of the track so I was able to start getting my foot down. Still so slippery on most corners though, had to be so patient getting on the gas. ADO8r's were a gamble that didn't pay off!

Great day at Donington park with the crew. Gotta say i enjoyed Opentracks hosting, in particular their leniency with the track limits flag, much appreciated!

Started with a curry the night before with the chaps and a waiter who called everyone BIG BOY! Great start to the trip.

Quick brake pad change on the morning courtesy of my personal mechanic @tombate911 Thanks mate :thumb:

And a bit of footage from the day:

Pleased with my best lap of 1:27.8. I think 1.26's is just possible if I link it all together. Hopefully back soon to find out...

@rupe30 ... every time you run over the curbs, the clio sounds like falling apart.

any idea if these H&R's are much stiffer than B14's? still undecided myself which to go for. don't want the car to become to 'crashy' on the road.

haha I'm pretty sure nothing fell off...

By all accounts they're exactly the same. I find them a little soft for the track, but if you're using it on the road it's probably a good balance. I went out in @R27WTF's car which is on AST's and solid as a rock, made mine feel like a boat :worried:

H&R coilovers are 80n/mm, B14's are 60n/mm.
