New Eibach Coilover kit - Pro Street S

Hello all

Hope this is OK to put up and thought you may be interested. Eibach now offer a coilover kit for the Clio III RS offering 20 to 50mm lowering front and rear along with their ERS front springs (as used in motorsport, BTCC, WRC, etc) so you can tune the front rate to your requirements. It is fixed damping but would be perfectly suited to track use. I know you are all going to ask, RRP is £881.

Has anyone tried them on track? I’ll keep eye on these as an alternative to B14’s. Ideally want something stiffer than the Billy’s

Eibach are looking to develop are rear race spring setup on this kit so rates can be played about with . The front is already interchangeable with the race spring range too.

does that mean an integrated rear shock/spring set-up like the cup racer Bilsteins?

I can't comment on these for a Clio as I haven't tried them... However, before the Clio I owned a Fabia which was Eibachs demo car so I'll happily vouch for them. It ran these coilovers and Fabia with these coilovers and some other upgrades(admittedly quite a few) would easily keep up with a Clio's handling. I would happily swap the Clio for that car back! The coilovers were phenomenal on a Fabia so these will be unreal on a Clio for sure!!

Yes sir!! What a car it was too! Use to surprise everything. Especially considering with the massive six pot brakes you could out brake most sports cars. I remember the look of an S4 drivers face when I flew past him(he wasn't hanging about either) braked a whipped round him on a two lane island and then gapped him by about 500yards. I'll happily vouch for Eibachs kit!

not sure if i understand correctly. so, you can have these shocks with race springs instead of the springs they come with (presumably mainly for road use)?

are you yourself interested in these?

The front springs are race springs so you can use what it comes with or potentially swap these out for stiffer/softer springs. The rear is a conventional coil on the standard kit BUT Eibach are looking into replacing this on a special non-catalogue kit over to a rear race spring setup.

Has anyone had these coilovers fitted? Looking to purchase these very shortly be interested to get some thoughts on the setup before I go for it.The Eibach Pro springs from what I hear are a very good road choice, which is ideal as I won't be doing any track days just yet.
