Wishbone Ball Joint Fitting

Looks like you'll need a hook spanner / c spanner. Adjustable ones work however I'd always try and get one for the right diameter(unsure on this case)!
 
Would you say you could do this with the wishbone still on the car? I imagine one side would be easy as you could chock it underneath however what about the side where you'd be essentially lifting the wishbone trying to undo it?

Yeah do it on the car. Block of wood under one side and I used a breaker bar into the suspension strut top on the other side. Get the correct tool and bolt it onto the ball joint so it can't slip off. Plenty of heat a good quality breaker bar.
