Hi,

What is the code of a 56 plate 197 rear axle? Apparently it can either be 185 or 195?

Need to source a new one and not sure what we have!

Hi I bought mine second hand of a member on here think he might have another one. Think there is also someone on here who is breaking a race car that as one.

Not sure what the code number is for it but surly wouldn’t buy it new. Not at stealers prices

The 185 or 195 part sounds like a tyre size, on the front wings of normal clios they are marked '185' or '195' for the width of front tyre, these have to match up with the same front bumpers. our cars (197/200) have 215 embossed on the front wings (behind the triangular mirror trim).

Is it something a breaker has asked if you are after a rear beam?

I bought the cup racer one from Dave which will be replacing mine, if you are after a used one give me a shout mate, it'll be available soon It will come with shims as well for alignment etc
