I know that the Corbeau Clubsport seats are favoured by a lot on here, and offer fantastic value for money. However just as I was about to push the button and order a pair from GSM, I noticed they sell Cobra Monaco Pro seats for around the same price. When comparing spec's the Cobra comes out favourably, a key bonus being FIA approved.

I'm now thoroughly undecided:excited: Any thoughts or reviews would be greatly appreciated!

Should add that its for a track day focused car, not a daily - but that I don't plan to compete or race properly anytime soon.

The Corbeau is the lightest, if you don't plan on competing is the FIA stamp important? For £12 extra I'd save the 6kg, weight saving on these goes a long way.

I definitely don't have any plans to compete, but guess I see the FIA stamp as a mark of quality? Maybe just being sucked in by marketing! I dont know how much difference there is between a seat that has been approved and ones that are not...

If you don't plan on competing, Ben is totally right, those Club Sport are much lighter. I'd definitely have those.

Light is right!

Taking a guess but a seat that is FIA approved will have been scrutineered/checked for compliance with motorsport regs. If the seats are road legal then I can't see an FIA seat being any safer for track days.
