Waxstock 2017

So, who else is going?

Basically - Ricoh Arena, Coventry on a sunny(hopefully) Sunday in July. Massive hall packed full of car detailing stalls and demonstrations.

I have mine and my girlfriends tickets and have already started to make a list of what I'm hoping to get. Anything I have missed? :tongueout:

I don't need any more shampoo as I've just ordered 5l of one of the best ever shampoos ever created for a bargain price - 5l Car-Chem 1900-1 Luxury Shampoo for £20.

Soft99 Fusso
Soft99 KOG
Paint/Wheel Sealant/Coating
Snow Foam Sealant (Fireball, KKD)
Quick Detailer
Wash Mitt
Buffing Towels
Short Pile Towels
Foaming spray head
Glass Sealant (Gtechniq, CarPro)
Trim Sealant (Gtechniq, CarPro)
Tyre Gel (Fireball, Gyeon, KKD)

I've been before and to be honest I didn't think it was that great. I would be making the most of online deals over Easter

I'd love to see from pics of the event Greg

As much as i'm interested - Coventry is a little too far for me. Shame.

Im going with my friend, sadly wont be in the clio as he has to take his daughter - its a good day, some good deals on the day. @LiamRS197 were you there last year I saw a 197 with orange wheels looking pretty tough!

Ah right that's fair enough. I did go last year mate, and that could well have been myself. Don't think there are many clios with vibrant Red/Orange wheels  @kevlar

Nice list!! I had some fusso 99 and I didnt like it to be honest, used better products - I think its just over hyped.

Wheel sealant I can recommend Gyeon Rim amazing stuff 2 coats on my octavia lasted 2 years and still going when it went last week..

QD I recently tried Auoglanz Velvet and as much as I hate the company and the branding its a very nice product, bouncers done and dusted is also a good product, bought some at Waxstock 2 years ago and I still have loads left.

Any microfibres happily recommend microfibre madness, the dry me crazy towel is the best also check out ragmaster.co.uk!

Just reading this post reminds me how completely out of touch I am with detailing...

It moves so fast it's crazy.

It certainly does move quickly, and I think its down to personal taste, what I find amazing you may find a poor product and a lot comes down to how its prepped. I dip in and out when I need to!

Oh I love Fusso! I did 2 coats on the arse end and it looks awesome.

I am looking for a QD that doesn't leave anything behind. I have BSD but it leaves protection behind, same with most others. I'd only use it when its horrible and I can't get a wax layer on it.

I recently got the in2detailing drinker. Awesome awesome towel, so much better than the green Auto Finesse Aqua Deluxe.

QD with no nothing left behind I can recommend Obsession Wax Montan Gloss, used this over Gyeon MOHS - looks great and easy as pie to use:

The fusso stuff my issue is the hype said it will last so long etc and it didnt, plus it stinks and I didnt find it that easy to use.

One of the best show wax's is again Obsession Wax (i dont work for them!) Phaenna (no idea how you pronounce it) I have used it and its really nice to use.
