They do a road focused spring kit a track focused and a slick focused.

I've opted for the track focused as thats what the car mainly gets used for with our 500 being used for daily stuff.

If I need spacers to stop bump steer I'll get them but I'm going to see how it copes without them first. I may need a thicker front ARB though.

I'm not going to be using camber shims on rear whilst its still my main car, I don't want to be going through road tyres every other month.

Wow what a build thread, great work mate. Are you still going to Knockhill on the 4th? Thimk I will pop along and have a look at your car. Who is organising the event on the 4th? I normally do track scotland.

I signed up to trackscotland a while ago but haven't been on it since.

Not on fully :nope:

The fronts are on the rears are on but...the nuts for the top of the rear shockers don't fit. Your supposed to use the standard nuts but Renault in the infinite wisdom decided to change the size of the thread midway through producing 197's for some reason meaning my standard cup suspension's thread is a different pitch to the current changed suspension (I'm not sure about the 200)

Renault being true Frenchies are the only one that ones that use this type of nut :001_unsure:

Kevin at Kam Racing however has been very helpful and it should all be sorted soon. I've seen it and it's sitting great !

Once the nuts arrive and are on it'll be going to get set-up.

mark when u ordered ure AST topmounts did you specify they were for coilovers? im worried that mine are gunna come and theyll be wrong. i have ordered them and in the order I put it was for KWV3 but they have taken payment and not confirmed that they are making me some that fit V3's . . .. . . . worried lol

I didn't mate because I went for AST coilovers so they fit them anyway.

I'd give them a phone just to confirm they know what your wanting :thumbup1:
 
Drove the car home tonight and it's going to get set-up on Friday morning.

It's very stiff currently on notch 6 front and notch 6 rear but that'll change come Friday. It sits well and should be brilliant on the track.

I'll try and get a couple of pictures up tomorrow night sometime.
