What exactly is my 200?

What actually is my car? I've always been confused with the whole full fat options etc. I've just been browsing the forum and I'm beginning to make sense of it (I think)!

I know my car isn't a Cup as it has A/C and colour coded side strips etc, but what's puzzling me is it has Red calipers - So would this be classed as the FF with Cup Chassis?

Here's a pic back when it was near enough standard..

Thanks.

Yup full fat with cup chassis!

Thanks mate, glad I've figured it out finally haha.

What's the main reason to not ordering the Cup instead then? Just down to the fact who ever ordered it would have wanted all the fancy extras?

My 200 has ac and 3 rear seats and still a cup.

See, now that has confused me! I thought Cup's were stripped of AC..

Mines the same as yours, colour coded side strips, Climate & Red Brembo's and I class mine as a FF 200.

Cups are less common cos they are generally stripped of more things (keyless, electric mirrors, ac) etc

it's not so simple cos as above some cup cars had ac and other options...

A FF with Cup pack imo gives the best of both worlds - nice creature comforts for the daily drive, but with the Cup pack for a bit more of a focused driving experience.

They aren't night and day in terms of differences, however the Cup pack is the more 'hardcore' of the options.

No such thing as a full fat. Never has been, never will be. It's just an invented term.

What you have is a Clio 200 with the cup pack.

FF was invented by the Clio 182 crowd I think to mean a non cup car with both cup packs (the 182 had a cup styles by and cup chassis option)

Glad you covered that, always found it's the 'FF' that confuses things!
