H&R springs?

Right then guys I have a spring that has snapped is it worth just making the move to lowering springs? A mechanic I know has offered to fit them for 20 quid a corner and from what I have read H&R seem to be the way I would like to go but are they worth it?

The next question is where is best/cheapest to get them from and links are welcome ha ha.

Cheers guys as I know you always come through

At £20 a corner I'd go for that, local place to me wanted £175 + VAT to fit springs.
They can be bought in loads of places, check Camskill and other places, google should bring up a few. I'd also consider Cooksports, they're only 30/30 drop but are designed by a company who race Clio 197's so they know their stuff.
