Best introduce myself - r27 no462

Yes there is another on ph with all the toys looks very nice in that blue .. Is that albi or racing blue ?

OP's is racing blue, attach a link to the PH advertised car and im sure someone will advise.

I think you mentioned in another post about one looking like a Gulf porsche colour, renault don't do anything close to that tho or not that I know of.

The closest thing to the Gulf porsche colour will be Racing Blue. The other blue, Albi, is a lot darker.

Gulfs a really light pastel colour tho, i'd say its more similar to Maritime or Riviera blue in the Porsche colours. Either way, looks well tasty on r27:thumbup1:

Hi and welcome!

Would be interested in your 106 project as I prepared 2 106 Rallyes - one for track and one for Hill Climbs.

Still enjoying the car and keeping her clean, after some replacment led lights for the interior as one has gone, am I right in thinking there just 501s

Tempted by some lowering springs and spacers just for a lower stance

The 106 had its first track day at croft on 7th July

Everything went ok and problem free and itching to do another day!

After a full day in the 106 the Clio feels tame!

Heading to the ring in October and think I'll be taking the Clio for the smoother ride

That 106 is a great looking track weapon! You gonna track the Clio at the 'Ring? I hired a 200 and took it round, never had so much fun lol.

Cheers, sourced some replacement LEDs, love the sparkle on the seats that the leds make

Ps how friendly is the cliosport forum, good to get in forums and read blogs etc and find local meets

Welcome.

As you can tell from my Sig I've had a few 106's and we still sprint one. I'd be interested to see and hear about your project.

Keep asking myself do i sell or keep?

Ideally id like a car that can tow the 106 and can throw some gear in the back for track days and the mountain bike in with out scratching the hell outta plastics modern cars come with.

A bmw 335d touring fits that bill but quite hard to come by at the right price.

The other option is a vw caddy van

Really in two minds, its the hassle of selling a car and all the time wasters too and the big question, What is it worth?

R27's now seem to be highly dependent on mileage and whether they still have the Recaro's.
Fair few on autotrader for 6-7k, not sure how long it would take to sell thought as a fair few seem to have been up for sale a while.

Nice to see my old motor again, really wish I had kept it little longer! I see it has a few war wounds now though - windscreen and front spring ... Whats the mileage now? Really miss the exhaust too
