Some of you may know I've recently got rid of my beloved RB200 - to a member on here, you know who you are

Some of you also know what I've replaced her with, and its something very special, and here is a link to the the day I sold her...

But now, I finally have some pictures of the beast.

The badges and stickers are on order from the wonderful John Thorne at Thorney Motorsport. It's stupidly quick, and so planted! Other than making it look like it should, I don't have many plans for this thing, other than maybe a cage for track season.

Thanks guys,

Jack

was so tempted to get a vxr and tune similar to yours, the hatred for vauxhalls put me off lol (after a zafira caught fire and wrote my r27 off), looks mega though that mate!

It likes fuel... 7.1MPG under heavy load is a bit, erm... much...

Low at the front...

The joys of having a black car...

but Matt Black wheels - and the green - pwoarrrr!!

Nice power and nice Ltd edition.

As said before my hatred is still there for vxr when my corsair decided it was gonna be the most problematic car. I've ever owned

Took some serious abuse for owning a chavvy car

Never again.

Hope you have better luck than I did

Should fair a little better. Nice little 2 year warranty from work always helps - they'll fudge anything :-P

However....

I'm already looking at other things... RWD and E92 M3's are just so tempting...

Doesn't look like a VXR-R, missing alcon calipers, budget tyres on the back, no recaro pole positions. They're nice cars though the Astra VXR's regret selling mine, much better than the 200!

Very nice mate! The cage, Recaro Pole positions and Dunlop semi slicks were an option on the VXR-R.

This looks like a VXR-S to me, it's missing the 4 pot Alcons which came standard on the R model...

definitely an R - I can forward anyone the email from Mr John Thorne himself verifying it :thumbup1:

the AP's weren't standard - but an option.

Also - the "goodhedge" tyre's weren't my option - previous owner

Looks nice, very rare being an R-R too.

I miss my old VXR, it had the AP's and Remus on it, popped and banged like a good 'un!

Sorry to thread hijiack but I like to reminisce.

These things go like stink in a straight line but I hear so many stories of them being a nightmare in the corners? Followed one round brands once and it looked like he was having a real fight with under steer?
