Clutch pedal squeaking.

I'm hoping this is a simple fix as its really starting to annoy me now.

For the past few weeks my clutch pedal sounds like it is squeaking/rubbing on something. It must be the clutch cable but I have no idea where i should be looking so that I can find out - A. What the issue is? And - B. how easy it is to sort out.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I have had a similar issue in my 197 for quite a while, squeaking sound roughly halfway through the clutch pedal travel, present both on press and release of the clutch. There is a bolt/screw mechanism at the top of the clutch pedal, I had this sprayed with WD40 and it went away.

I had this on my 200! Renault change them under warranty now due to so many complaints! If you've got warranty, get it done!

It's an 07 F1 dude so no warranty:-(
I'm thinking of taking out a warranty though as there's a few things I think are cropping up that are going to be pretty expensive.

Ahhhh gutted :-( no idea on cost of clutch pedal!

Dont use wd-40, it is too thin. Use HHS2000
