    See pics (thumbnail links) As far as I know there has been no collision to cause this, could it be that a clip/screw is loose or deformed? Much danger of it being the bumper that is deformed? Other side is completely straight with a uniform gap. It doesn't seem loose, trying to push it back...

    Spoke to RAC Warranty company today and they're going to cover the gearbox repair for 4th gear+synchro - saves me £570+VAT and I got it in the garage 4 days before my warranty ran out! Garage is reporting my clutch is worn (4 years old and 37k miles??) could this be a side effect of the gear...
