    Tailgate Rust

It's a known issue I believe. Screen not fitted quite correctly to the panel and the lowest point of the glass rubs the paintwork. Mine was the same but it never got noticeable enough for me to bother claiming. And quite frankly by that stage I was sick of claiming and having to deal with...

2 of my fave pics for you. UR is still my favourite colour but it's hard to photograph without it looking a bit pink.

The stiffness of the shell was the first thing that struck me when I got it! I had a mk1 Clio 1.8 16v before the 197, and that probably flexed a fair bit :D Oddly enough, my sister not long since moved back from Bournemouth, and her fella's from there. Spooky.

Welcome Mr Rossi, and thanks for the PM. That is indeed my old car! Anything you want to know about the old girl, ask away. I'll probably drop in on this place as they're a good bunch on here (most one-make sites are a bit rubbish and full of overly-defensive types, but they're a knowledgable...

Looking good in the pics they've put up :)

    New Car

Don't have kids pmsl! Seriously, I drove to Macclesfield the other day and it was my first go on some proper bends in it. It's actually pretty nimble for an estate, but then it's actually quite compact when compared with some of the other cars at work. So far I reckon it's a stonking all-rounder.

    New Car

:D I went up there aiming to repeat this shot I knew it was being redeveloped though and sadly doesn't look as nice :( I hope you're not working there now I've said that! I made my displeasure known by lighting up the rears in the mud/gravel as I left :german:

Cheers chaps. I don't think these rear tyres are going to last long though :D

    New Car

It's taken me a while to get round to taking some pics but here you go: 56-plate 57k 330I Touring Auto. Love. It. It's really is fantastic. Goes extremely well, much more than I was expecting tbh. I kind of thought it would be about the same pace as the Clio in a...

Clio now gone - Au revoir Renault

I've never done this before but I've been keeping my eyes peeled for the car popping up for sale. Reckon I've found it here...

    I miss my 200 Cup :-(

I had a 1.5 dci80 a few years ago. Cracking little cars. My mum's still got it and is dreading the day it finally breaks properly, she loves it so much.

Clio now gone - Au revoir Renault

I'll get try and get some pics this week of the new one. I need to try and drag myself away from work one lunchtime and get some shots in daylight. I fookin' love it though. It's like the polar opposite of the Clio and I think that helps. Anything fwd and quick would've probably fallen short...

Clio now gone - Au revoir Renault

Well, drove all the way down to Devon from Manchester today to part ex the Clio against my new car - a 2006 330i Touring. Took some finding the right BM in the spec I wanted, hence the distance. But then the Clio never once received any interest despite advertising since July. So if you see...

    What Renault should have done

Was speaking to a mate of mine recently that repairs, restores and preps cars and is a general automotive genius. He's tried a few of the Korean motors recently and reckons that within the next few years they will seriously affect the sales of the non-premium European brands such as the French...

Makes mine look tonnes better value, despite no interest. :001_huh:
