Thanks for getting back to me, I fitted the spring yesterday - seems to be fine but will look into getting cup dampers and and another spring to match up the ride height at the rear.
I have a 2006 standard 197, my rear spring snapped the other day so I bought another to replace it.
The new spring arrived today, it's got red and blue markings on it which after searching I've found out is a cup spring. Understand they are stiffer.
Will it fit?
Also will it be the same...
Just had my manifold replaced as well as new engine mount and de-silencer
Garage charged me £250 cash all in.
Got a worn manifold for sale for cheap, check it out
found this on ebay

I believe its the right size etc for what I need
Can someone confirm?
I discovered a blow in my exhaust/ manifold and took a look this evening! Anyway I found that the Flexi pipe was frayed pretty bad, I guess this is the problem. What options do I now have in terms of fixing it
any help would be much appreciated

Thats the thing, people say the Clio really isnt a weapon in a straight line?
Just think that it can be if you fully utilise the gearbox i.e. Keep it in the power band
I know people have had alot of problems with flatspots when they fit new exhausts, looking into getting a KTR cat back as heard good things about them and the price isn't bad.. a potential flat spot is the only thing stopping me at the moment.
Anyone got any advice on this subject?
