I haven’t needed to do anything with ID, just had to file inside of 4 lugs down and a little bit on their width Perhaps I don’t have original ball joints or arms fitted.

Sorry to drag an old thread up, did you say you had to modify the Sealey ball joint removal tool?

No worries, I've just been out and had another go at the sensor, this time with heat and plus gas and I also dropped the rear section of the exhaust to get more access. Slid a 22mm ring spanner over it and used another spanner for leverage and it cracked loose first time of trying :-)

Sorry to dig up an old post but did you manage to replace sensor without removing manifold?
